As usual K-Town was awesome (despite the drenching rain that began 30 seconds before the starting fun). George surprised me at check-in when he revealed he was ‘InPhact’ running the half-marathon. We were both soaked before the gun fired. I suppose I was due having avoided any serious rain in every previous race; one’s luck must hit a mud puddle sometime.
To everyone at the Knoxville Track Club…. Thanks! You know how it’s done and you do it. We’ll be back next year for round 4!
