Yea! I just found out about a new half-marathon (new to me anyway) in easy driving distance. I’ve been stressing about the big empty whole that is August (from a racing perspective). Stress no more; I’ve just sent off my entry for the Patrick Henry Half-Marathon. This should be a nice recovery event following next month’s Ultra. Half’s are one of my favorite’s since you can wrap them up quickly and enjoy the rest of the weekend. Even if the weather sucks, it shan’t suck very long! This event also brings me close to one of my favorite weekend getaways ….. Richmond!
