We caught Game 5 at Memphis Taproom in “Port Fishington”. This was supposed to be the grand finale, but is looking more like the penultimate. We enjoyed dinner and some exceptionally tasty brews. George & Gary stuck with the Victory Harvest Ale from Victory Beer (Downingtown, PA). I mixed it up a bit (as you might have expected).
- Round 1: Great Divide Hibernation Ale (Denver, CO)
- Round 2: Belhaven Scottish Ale (Scotland)
- Round 3: Lagunitas Hop Stoopid* (Petaluma, CA)
* I had originally ordered the Phoenix Pale Ale (Cask), but they had run out.
Unfortunately, the game ended with a weather suspension. The rain & temperature had both gotten severe enough by the 6th inning to stop the game. The score was tied 2-2. Now….. we wait and see!
